every time I come back to this album it kind of blows my mind how incredible it is. I like "video game music" but mostly just have fond memories of simcity 2k and phantasy star online soundtracks. this is on a whole other level. it's enhanced by my memories of the game of course, but it really does tell the story and stand on its own. brian

La bande-originale de Pyre est tellement immersive que vous pouvez la lancer et avaler sans vous en rendre compte les quasi quatre heures (oui, quatre heures : absolument tout est là) qui la composent. La grande qualité de Darren Korb, c'est à quel point il fait briller le son de manière authentique : guitare acoustique (toute la partie autour de The White Lute) électrique ("Thrash Pack") mais aussi du clavecin maîtrisé à merveille... Sans oublier ses duos avec Ashley Barrett ! Sublime finesse ! Jordan Vauvert

N'ayant pas eu l'occasion de poser les mains sur Moonlighter, je ne pourrai évidemment pas décrire en quoi cette bande-originale correspond au jeu. Mais une chose reste certaine : les musiques de David Fenn sont si belles qu'elles s'apprécient par elles-mêmes. Les envolées des instruments à vents ("Macadamia Mayhem") me remettent en mémoire le goût de l'aventure qu'on pouvait trouver dans Okami — avec une direction plus occidentale chez David. Puis quand le rock s'en mêle ("Naja", "The Void")... Jordan Vauvert
