Jordan Vauvert La bande-originale de Hollow Knight, c'est une certaine idée de la chevalerie. Pour un guerrier errant dans un monde en décrépitude inhospitalier et labyrinthique, une musique aux accents médiévaux et mélancoliques. On ressent chez Christopher Larkin une inspiration provenant de la musique classique (harpe dans "The White Lady", clavecin dans "Mantis Lords"), mais c'est aussi une bande-originale pleine de bravoure ("Dung Defender") véhiculant parfois même vrai un "effet wow" ("City of Tears") ! Favorite track: City of Tears.

SuperIceBlock Incredible OST for a game with the same reputation. I love Hollow Knight and it's soundtrack. It has a unique idea of combining classical with rock to make for some awesome music! Favorite track: Sealed Vessel.

raddishone Great game accompanied by a fantastic soundtrack. The motifs return a everywhere and the variety is very nice. However, the soundtrack noticeably lacks some tracks such as the Waterways music while some boss themes are included with the track of the location. I understand that ambience music wasn't included but pieces like the Waterways, Colloseum of Fools, changed Crossroads and Shade music should be in there as well

Beneath the fading town of Dirtmouth sleeps an ancient, forgotten kingdom. Many are drawn beneath the surface, searching for riches, or glory, or answers to old secrets. Descend into Hallownest, traverse the depths, unravel its mysteries and conquer its evils.

The score for Hollow Knight captures the vast underground world of the game. The story begins with soft piano notes echoing the Hollow Knight theme, and as the player explores further, orchestral forces swell to an operatic scale as the fate of the knight unfolds.

every time I come back to this album it kind of blows my mind how incredible it is. I like "video game music" but mostly just have fond memories of simcity 2k and phantasy star online soundtracks. this is on a whole other level. it's enhanced by my memories of the game of course, but it really does tell the story and stand on its own. brian
